After making a huge splash in the United States, Zhu Zhu Pets have moved into Canada in a big way! In only three days, more than 7,000 Zhu Zhu hamsters were sold in Toronto, at Toys R Us and online.

What makes these robotic hamster toys so popular? There are a number of reasons this is the must-have toy of the season. Of course, one big reason everyone wants them is because they are becoming so hard to get. Not being able to get something always seems to make it much more desirable, and the Zhu Zhu Pets hamster craze is no exception.
